The Children’s Academy for Neurodevelopment & Learning is proud to introduce CAN LEARN Academy. Can Learn Academy is dedicated to helping all children, including those with learning, focusing and/or behavior struggles.  Many are considered “fall through the crack kids” struggling but not enough to receive labels or diagnosis.  These are all great kids with strengths and dreams.  They just need a little extra help in different areas.  All children are on a continuum of learning from very low to very high.  All children have unlimited potential when given the opportunity.

We have an intimate setting allowing us to keep cost down and work closer with students.  Each student works at their functional level not age or grade.  Learning gaps are eliminated and on average students gain THREE years in math and/or reading in one eight month school year.  The Academy is a non-grade school having lower and upper elementary, Jr. High and High School. Grading is on a rubric system.  Students celebrate success with a yearly ‘right of passage’ celebration.

What Makes Us Different? First each student is given a neurodevelopment evaluation and academic achievement testing finding their functional levels then an INEP is designed. Each day student’s, even those not struggling, participate in specialized body/brain exercises based on their INEP to get the brain, hands, eyes and ears working efficiently together. When the body and brain work together learning happens! New neural connections are created by utilizing music, obstacle courses, movement and other “cutting-edge” researched proven methods including weekly Horse Therapy (between April-mid November).

CAN LEARN Academy works closely with our parents providing a nurturing and emotionally safe environment. We provide physical, mental, developmental, cognitive, emotional, and spiritual support to help children grow and develop.

We give HOPE for a future. empowers parents and teachers with the knowledge, techniques, and expertise that enable them to assume primary responsibility for their child’s maximum growth and development.
