have vision problems and/or visual stress.

Symptoms may include:

  • moving head back and forth while reading

  • headaches or blurred vision

  • easily tires or loses attention

  • eyestrain or rubbing eyes when reading

  • difficulty copying and taking notes

  • jerky reading

  • poor comprehension of read material

  • just don’t know how to use the eyes efficiently

  • avoids reading and/or seat work

Vision Stimulation

All CAN LEARN Academy students receive a vision screening to check their visual efficiency and visual development skills.

  • Students learn and practice visual skills daily such as track efficiently from left to right, near and far accommodation, fixating, improving peripheral (side) vision, binocular vision as well as visual recall and memory.

PARENTS NOTE: "Programs and activities are recommendations only and are not medical, therapeutic or psychological prescriptions. They are based on the experience of a Neurodevelopmentalist and represent suggestions to the family. Every parent needs to assume the responsibility for their own child and make their own decisions as to the techniques and methodologies to use with their child. "
